Week the next

Back again with an exciting class with Chris our directing lecture. In this class we discussed the difference between objective and subjective camera/POV and how it effects the film.

Objective is less about the emotion and more about what happens. There is a lot of over the shoulder shots and none if any of the face and emotion.

Subjective is when its all about the emotion there is no over shoulder or wide its all close up and tight framing.

So for our next assignment we have to film a shot scene using only one of these. It think I will go objective.

week something

So this week we had an actor come in and talk to us about rehearsals and the whole process one thing that I found different was how the script developed with each performance and what actors need so much information to get the best performance. It was amazing how it all came together.
